Step 1 - Charging the device
Before first use, please fully charge the camera pen:
- Connect it to the computer's USB port or a 5V charger.
- During charging:
- 🔵 Blue light on continuously.
- 🔴 Red light flashing.
- 🔵 Blue light on continuously.
Both lights steady when fully charged (approx. 2 hours).
Step 2 - Power on and record video
- Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
- The blue light will turn on and flash 3 times: recording begins.
- Press the button once to pause. The blue light remains solid (standby mode).
- Videos are recorded in 20-minute segments.
- If no microSD card is detected, the red light flashes 4 times and the device powers off.
Step 3 - Take a photo
- In standby mode, double-click the power button.
- The blue light will blink once: the photo has been captured and saved.
Step 4 - Turn off the device
- Press and hold the button for 3 seconds until the blue light turns off.
Step 5 - Read the recorded files
- 1 Option: Connect the pen to your computer using the Micro USB cable.
- 2 Option: Remove the microSD card and use a card reader to access the files.
Step 6 - Set the date and time
- Insert the microSD card and record a video.
- A file called will be generated time.txt at the root of the card.
- Format: YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS Y (change "N" to "Y" if you want to display the date on the videos).
Step 7 - Ink Change
- Unscrew the pen in half.
- Use a flat or Phillips screwdriver to change the ink.

Important Note: The camera does not work without a microSD card. Insert a blank card before use.
- Option 1 (recommended):
- Remove the microSD card from the camera.
- Connect it to your computer using a card reader.
- On your PC, right-click on the new drive ("USB DRIVE") and select "Format."
- Choose the format FAT32 and complete the process.
- 2 Option:
- Connect the camera to your computer using the included USB cable.
- Format the drive that appears on the PC as “USB DRIVE” in format FAT32.
Step 2 - Charging the battery
- Connect the camera to a power source (computer, power bank or 5V/1A or 2A wall charger).
- The flashing red LED indicates that it is charging.
- When the red LED remains solid, charging is complete.
- For first load, it is recommended to leave it charging for an additional 30 minutes after the LED remains solid.
Step 3 - Take photos
- Insert a microSD card.
- Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds (blue LED on: standby mode).
- Quickly press the power button twice to take a photo (the blue LED flashes once and returns to standby mode).
Step 4 - Loop Recording (Continuous Video)
- Turn on the camera (press and hold for 3 seconds). Blue LED lights up = standby mode.
- Start recording automatically. The blue LED flashes 3 times and then turns off.
- During recording, no LED is lit (stealth mode).
- Each video file is 5 minutes long.
- To stop recording, press the power button once. The blue LED lights up = standby mode.
Step 5 - Setting the Date and Time Stamp
- Connect the camera to the computer via USB.
- A file will be created TIME.txt.
- Open it and edit the format as:
- 2025-04-01 12:00:00 Y → to display date
- 2025-04-01 12:00:00 N → to hide it
- 2025-04-01 12:00:00 Y → to display date
- Save the changes and disconnect the camera.
- Turn it on to update the date stamp.
Note: Use a space between the number and the letter. The final letter ("Y" or "N") must be capitalized.

Frequent Problems
Does the camera get hot when recording or charging?
Yes, due to its small size, heat dissipation is limited. It's normal for it to become warm during operation.
What do I do if the camera is not responding?
Press the button reset once with the reset pin. The camera will turn off and you can turn it back on.
Why does it turn off by itself after 20 seconds?
The battery is low. Charge it fully before using it again.
Why does it turn off if I don't use it?
The camera enters power saving mode and automatically turns off after 1 minute of standby.
How do I watch recorded videos?
- Option 1: Remove the card and use it in a reader connected to your computer.
- Option 2: Connect the camera to the computer with the USB cable.
What players can I use?
Windows and Mac: VLC Media Player (recommended).
Why doesn't the video show the date and time?
The file time.txt is not configured correctly. Edit the time.txt file and make sure to change "N" to "Y." Save the changes before removing the card.
Why can't I press the button?
Button spring misaligned. Unscrew the top of the pen and check the button mechanism.
