Instructions
Step 1 - Download the Tuya Smart app
- Download the app Tuya Smart from Google Play or App Store.
- When starting the Tuya Smart application it will be necessary grant all necessary permissions y create an account or access a user account already created. Remember activate the acceptance box of terms and conditions and privacy policy to create the user account or access.
Step 2 - Preparation and Installation
- Insert a microSD card (not included) into the camera slot.
- Connect the camera to power (USB or power adapter).
- Hold down the RESET button for 5 seconds until the LED light starts to blink blink rapidly.
Step 3 - Pairing with the app (EZ mode)
- Turn on the camera and wait at least 10 seconds for the camera to start. Activate Bluetooth and Wifi on your mobile.
- In the Tuya Smart application click on «add device» and then in the side menu select “Camera and Lock”. Click on "Smart security camera (Wi-Fi)."
Then Click in the upper right corner on «QR code for camera«and switch to «Wi-Fi Mode». Then press next three times and «AP mode».
Enter the password of the Wi-Fi network to which the camera is going to connect to transmit the image and save the files to the cloud. By default, the Wi-Fi network to which the mobile is connected is selected.
After entering the password, click Next and select the “Smartlife…” Wi-Fi network to connect.
Finally, wait for the timer to end correctly and the camera to connect correctly. Click on «Finalized«.
Step 4 - Functions from the Tuya Smart app
- Live Viewing: See what's happening in real time.
- Reproduction: Access recordings from your SD card or the cloud.
- Microphone and speaker: Talk or listen from your mobile.
- Capture video or photo: Manual or by motion detection.
- Notifications: Receive alerts when motion is detected. To activate motion detection, click on the icon with a siren.
- Storage configuration: Choose between SD or cloud.
- Share camera: Share access with family or trusted people. Click on the pencil in the top right corner while viewing it, then click on "Share Team» or share Tuya Smart account credentials.
Step 5 - Reset
If the camera has been incorrectly configured, it needs to be reconfigured or is there a problem In its normal operation it is recommended reset the camera by holding down for 5 seconds the reset button.

Frequent Problems
Why won't the camera connect to Wi-Fi?
- Make sure your network is 2.4 GHz (not compatible with 5G).
- Place the camera near the router during pairing.
- Reset the camera by holding the RESET button for 5 seconds.
Does the camera record without WiFi?
Yes, you can record directly to the microSD card without an internet connection.
How do I activate night vision?
It activates automatically when low light is detected thanks to infrared LEDs.
How to review recordings?
- From the app: playback menu.
- From a computer: Remove the SD card and access the .mp4 files.
