Description
Magnetic Lapa GPS Locators offer real-time tracking with quick installation thanks to their built-in magnet.
Both models are waterproof, compatible with GSM SIM cards, and feature features such as geofencing, speed alarms, and smart alerts. The standard version offers up to 90 days of battery life in power-saving mode, while the Long Battery Life version extends the battery life even further for extended monitoring.
Ideal for vehicles, cargo, or belongings, they allow effective monitoring from your mobile phone in any environment.

Route history and remote control: Access your location history and configure features from the mobile app.

Water resistance (IP65): Reliable operation in outdoor and adverse conditions.
Internal data storage: Saves location information in case of signal loss, synchronizing it later.
Two versions available depending on the range:

Instructions
Step 1 - Installation and preparation
- Insert a SIM card active in the device slot.
- Make sure that:
- The SIM has active mobile data.
- The PIN is disabled.
- The SIM has active mobile data.
- Place the device on the desired vehicle or metal surface using the built-in magnet.
Important notes:
- For optimal performance, mount the locator on a flat metal surface and not completely hidden under thick metal.
- It is recommended to test the operation before completely closing the installation.
Step 2 - Power and LED status
- After inserting the SIM, the device will automatically power on.
- LED indicators:
- Blue LED: GPS status
- Blinking: searching for GPS signal.
- Fixed: GPS signal fixed correctly.
- Blinking: searching for GPS signal.
- Green LED: GSM Status
- Blinking: Searching for GSM network.
- Fixed: connected to the GSM network.
- Blinking: Searching for GSM network.
- Blue LED: GPS status
Step 3 - Download the app and register
- Scan the QR code provided in the manual or on the device label to download the official app (Android or iOS). “Winnes GPS”
- Create a user account in the app.
- Enter the device's IMEI number (printed on the label or manual).
- Follow the pairing steps to connect the device to your account.
Step 4 - Main functions available in the app
- Tracking: : Check the exact position of the locator on the map.
- Tour history: Review the route taken over the last few days.
- Alarm configuration:
- Geofence alarm: Define a safe area and receive alerts if the device leaves it.
- Speeding alarm: Receive notifications if the vehicle exceeds the configured speed limit.
- Low battery alarm: It will alert you if the device's battery is about to run out.
- Geofence alarm: Define a safe area and receive alerts if the device leaves it.
- Energy save mode: Allows you to extend battery life up to 90 days by reducing the frequency of GPS updates.
Step 5 - SMS Operations
In addition to controlling the device via the app, you can send SMS commands to the inserted SIM number to configure various functions:

Important notes:
- All commands use the initial password "123456", unless it has been changed.
- Make sure to type the command without extra spaces and respecting upper and lower case.

Frequent Problems
Why is there no GPS signal?
Device indoors or under dense metal. Relocate the device to an open area and wait several minutes.
Why is there no GSM connection?
SIM card with no mobile data or no balance. Make sure the SIM card is active and has data.
The battery drains quickly, why is that?
Continuous use without power saving. Activate power saving mode from the app.
It doesn't respond to SMS commands, what do I do?
Incorrect SMS format or incorrectly entered number. Verify that the command is correct and that the number is correct.
The location is inaccurate, why?
Weak or blocked GPS signal. Relocate the device to a more open area or one free from metallic interference.
