Spy Microphone Badge Pin

The Spy Badge Microphone is an ultra-discreet recording device with a conventional badge design, ideal for capturing audio undetected. It easily attaches to any garment with its built-in safety pin and offers high-quality recording at 192 Kbps.

With 8GB of internal memory and up to 17 hours of continuous use or 30 days in standby mode, it allows for recording up to 90 hours with automatic time stamping. It features voice activation from 50dB, segmented recording, MP3/WMA/WAV playback, and quick controls for ease of use.

Instructions

Step 1 - Power On and Recording

  • Make sure that the headphones are not connected.
  • Slide the switch to position ON.
  • The red light will flash 5 times and then turn off: recording has started.
  • To finish, move the switch to OFF. The file will be saved automatically.

⚠️Regularly extract files to avoid loss (the files are large due to their high quality).

⚠️Do not connect the recorder to the computer during recording., as the file may be lost.

Step 2 - Reproduction

  • Connect the headphones included.
  • Put the switch in position ON.
  • The music or recording will start playing.
  • Use the buttons:
    • ➕ Long press: increase volume
    • ➕ Short press: next track
    • ➖ Long press: decrease volume
    • ➖ Short press: previous track
    • ▶ Short press: mode change
    • ▶ Long press: play/pause

Step 3 - Time Synchronization

  1. Connect the recorder to the computer.
  2. Access the device folder and copy the file SET TIME.exe to the desk.
  3. Run the file and click on Set Time.
  4. The system date/time will be recorded in the audio files.

Step 4 - Fast forward and fast rewind function

  • During playback, press and hold:
    • ➕: fast forward
    • ➖: fast rewind

4.1 - Voice-activated Recording (VOR)

In this mode, the recorder only records when it detects sound or voice.

In pause mode (red and blue lights flash):

  • Activate: Press and hold the play/pause button for 3 seconds → the blue light will flash.
  • Deactivate: Press and hold the play/pause button for 3 seconds → the red light will flash.

4.2 - Long recording (low sampling, space saving)

  • If long-duration recording is enabled, recordings will be saved in large files. Otherwise, they will be saved in smaller files, saving space.

    In pause mode (red and blue lights flash):

    • Activate: Press and hold the + button for 3 seconds → flashing blue light.
    • Deactivate: Press and hold the + button for 3 seconds → flashing red light.

4.3 - Delete recordings

  • In pause mode, press and hold the - button for 3 seconds to enter delete mode (flashing purple light).
    • 🔸 Short press: delete current file
    • 🔸 Long press: delete all files
    • 🔸 Short press exit: exit mode

4.4 - Fast Forward and Rewind (requires reboot)

  • Connect headphones and turn on the device.
  • Press and hold the ➕ button to move forward, ➖ to move backward.

Step 5 - Load

  • Always set the switch to OFF before charging or connecting to the computer.
  • Use charging adapters maximum 1A to avoid damage.
  • Use the original usb cable.
  • During charging:
    • Flashing red light: charging
    • Solid blue light: fully charged

Frequent Problems

Why won't the recording start?

Make sure the device is properly powered on and the recording switch is in the correct position.

Why isn't he responding?

Press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds to reset the device.

Why is there trouble connecting to the computer?

Check that the data cable is securely connected. If it still doesn't work, try using a different USB port or connecting it to another computer.

Why aren't the files saving?

Make sure the device is properly powered off after recording. If it isn't powered off, the recording won't be saved.

Why won't the files play?

If your device doesn't play your recordings, make sure the file isn't corrupted. Try playing it on another compatible device.

Why does the battery fail?

Please use the original charging cable and make sure you are using a charger with a current of 1A or less.
