The 2MP Wifi Spy Camera Smoke Detector is a compact and discreet device that allows you to capture high-quality images and videos easily and efficiently. Equipped with 1/4” CMOS image sensor, this camera guarantees accurate color reproduction and excellent image quality. Supports microSD up to 128GB and includes plugs and screws for fixing to the wall or ceiling.

Instructions

Step 1 - Opening and Inserting microSD

Smoke detector hides a compartment for the MicroSD slot.

FOR open the rear compartment it is due to unscrew the two screws on the back cover with a star screwdriver.

When inserting the microSD into the slot we must push the microSD until you hear a click, and push again to extract it. It is recommended to format the card to FAT 32 format and use a card with a Class 10 transfer speed. The minimum size allowed is 32 GB and the maximum 128 GB.

Step 2 - Load

The battery is shipped with a low charge. It must of charge with a USB charger.

The smoke detector emits a Red light while charging that turns off when charging is 100%:

El charging time is about 2-3 hours when connected to a 1 amp charger at 5 Volts (Maximum 5V 1.0A, using more amperage will reduce battery life).

Step 3 - Power On/Off

Turn on the smoke detector by moving the switch to "WE". After a few seconds The blue LED will turn on and start flashing.

FOR delete, move the switch to the OFF position.

Step 4 - Wifi Remote Viewing

Step 4.1 - Application Download

Download the HDsmartIPC app on your mobile by pressing the Android or App Store (iPhone) icon depending on the model of your device.

Step 4.2 - Wifi connection

On ignition wait at least 1 minute for wifi to be activated. When Wi-Fi is activated, a blue light will flash. Next, access the mobile's Wi-Fi settings and connect to the LM wifi network… If a notice appears when connecting indicating that this Wi-Fi network does not have internet and showing the option to maintain the connection or disconnect it, we must maintain the connection.

Step 4.3 - Viewing and Configuration

The application will recognize the Wi-Fi of the device to which we are connected and we will be able to view the live image. This allows you to view it in local mode connected to the camera's Wi-Fi, but the configuration for remote viewing has not yet been completed.

Pressing in gear icon On the main screen we can modify the camera parameters and connect the camera to a Wi-Fi network:

Connect to the camera's Wi-Fi network.
Grant all permissions in the app.
Click on the gear wheel on the camera that will have detected the app automatically.
Click on Camera setting.
Click on Wi-Fi settings.
Select the Wi-Fi network to which the camera will connect. The Wi-Fi network must be 2.4GHz type.
Enter the password for the Wi-Fi network.
Confirm the configuration twice.

When the connection is successful the blue led will stop flashing and you will return to the Camera Setting screen in the app. We can view the camera from anywhere with internet.

Step 4.4 - Display Settings

Through the application we can adjust some parameters visualization such as night vision or turning off the detector's LEDs.

The device does not have a microphone or speaker.

Step 4.5 - Share Access

Click on the gear icon and then in »Camera setting» and then in «Camera info» to query the UID.

From another mobile click on the + icon in the upper right corner of the main screen, then «Enter manually»E indicate the UID and default password: 8888.

Step 5 - Reset

If the product is failing or we want to restore factory settings, while it is on, press the reset button until it clicks and hold for at least 3 seconds. Then wait 1 minute for the reset to complete.

After factory resetting the device, you must delete the camera in the app by clicking on the gear wheel, «Camera setting» and «Delete camera».

Frequent Problems

1 - Does not turn on

2 - Does not store

Enter the microSD into a computer and check that you can read it.
