Instructions
Step 1 - Opening
The key hides a compartment for the MicroSD slot, Status LED, USB Connection and Reset.
For open the compartment it is due to pull hard holding the key with one hand and with the other pulling the cover or the ring.
Step 2 - Load
The battery is shipped with a low charge. It must of charge with a USB charger.
The key emits a Red light while charging that turns off when charging is 100%:
El charging time is about 2-3 hours when connected to a 1 amp charger at 5 Volts (
Maximum 5V 1.0A, using more amperage will reduce the useful life of the battery built into the key).
The camera automatically vibrates and turns on when charging. It is recommended to turn it off if not to be used while charging to reduce charging time. For it Press and hold the ON/OFF button on the key logo for 3 seconds until it vibrates, the green/yellow LED turns off and only the red LED remains on loading.
Step 3 - MicroSD
Introduce before ignition MicroSD into the slot until you hear a click. It is recommended to format the card to FAT 32 format and use a card with a Class 10 transfer speed. The minimum size allowed is 32 GB and the maximum 128 GB.
Step 4 - Power On/Off
Turn on the key holding down the logo button for 3 seconds of the key. This button has the key on/off function. The camera It will vibrate and the yellow LED will turn on without flashing. If Yellow LED flashes and continues to vibrate, the microSD has not been inserted before power on or the microSD format is incorrect. It is also possible that the microSD is smaller than 32GB, larger than 128GB, or defective.
For turn it off, repeat the procedure until the camera vibrates and the yellow LED turns off. If the camera is on for more than 5 minutes without Wi-Fi enabled, recording or video will be turned off automatically.
Step 5 - Video and Photography Recording
Press the trunk release button once to start with the recording. The key will vibrate and the red LED will start flashing. For stop recording, press the same button again. The red LED will stop flashing. If recording is not stopped, the camera will continue recording and will divide the recording into 5-minute videos for safety reasons.
Press the lock button once to perform a photography. The key will vibrate and the red LED will flash.
Step 6 – LED Off
Press and hold the lock button for 3 seconds to turn off the LEDs. It is very important to remember that This configuration will be stored and they will not turn on again until we hold the button again for 3 seconds.
Step 7 - Wifi Remote Viewing
Step 7.1 - Application Download
Download the 4K Cam app on your mobile by pressing the Android or App Store (iPhone) icon depending on the model of your device.
Step 7.2 - Wifi connection
Press and hold the trunk release button for 3 seconds to turn on the camera's Wifi mode. When Wi-Fi is activated, a blue light will flash. Next, access the mobile's Wi-Fi settings and connect to the wifi network WIFI_XXXXXX with password 1234567890. If a notice appears when connecting indicating that this Wi-Fi network does not have internet and showing the option to maintain the connection or disconnect it, we must maintain the connection.
The blue light will stop flashing as long as there is a device connected via Wifi.
Step 7.3 - Wifi connection
Open the application and click on «Add New Camera«.
Select "Wi-Fi Connect«.
The application will recognize the wifi of the key to which we are connected and we will be able to visualize it.
La current battery will be indicated by a graphic in the upper left corner.
Step 7.4 - Change Resolution
While viewing the camera through the application you can change video or photo resolution. In addition, under the resolution change option the number of photographs or the recording time available in that resolution for the free size of the microSD will appear.
For switch between photo/video mode Click on the icon in the lower right corner.
Step 7.5 - Gallery and Camera Settings
Click on the icon in the upper right corner to modify the settings such as white balance, date and time setting (automatically adjusted when pairing the key in the app), the recording frequency, the image resolution or modify the Wi-Fi network name and password.
Click on the icon in the lower left corner to view, download and share photographs and videos stored on the camera's microSD. They can also be viewed by inserting the microSD directly into the computer or using the included USB cable.
Step 8 - Reset
If the key is failing or we want to restore factory settings, insert the reset clip until it clicks and hold for at least 3 seconds. Then turn on the key.
Frequent Problems
1 - Does not turn on
