Step 1 - Store Recordings on microSD

Factory songs are included in the MP3 for testing, they can be deleted after testing.

The recordings are stored on a microSD of 512 Mb that is inserted into the side of the induction collar and offers storage of approximately 8 hours of recordings. The inductor collar accepts a card microSD up to 16 GB. To change it, push the integrated 512 Mb microSD inward and repeat the process to insert the new microSD until you hear a click.

For save recordings on the microSD you can:

Insert the microSD into the induction collar, turn on the collar with the side ON/OFF switch and connect the USB to the computer.
Use the included USB-microSD adapter to connect to your computer (faster transfer).
Use the USB-USB-Type C adapter (faster transfer).

It is important that they be stored in .mp3 format (if they are not there, you can convert them with the web: https://convertio.co/es/audio-converter/), to be stored in the root (not folders) and order them with numbers. If the recordings are not ordered correctly when playing or listening to the songs that have already been deleted, the microSD must be formatted. Connect it to the computer and format it in FAT32 format.

Step 2 - Power and Status Lights

The choke collar is shipped with little or no charge, It is recommended to charge it before its first use. (See Step 7)

Turn on the Nano V2 inductor collar putting the switch in the ON position. will light the Green LED after a few seconds if the neckloop is charged. Wait for the collar to read the microSD on power up. The led at ignition indicates:

green light flashing: Loading new recording into memory and starting playback.
Steady green light: The microSD cannot be read, it is not inserted in the collar.

When recordings are playing, the LED indicates:

Steady green light: Paused recording.
green light flashing: Playing, recording change or button pressed.

when it is charging, the LED indicates:

steady red light: Charging.
no light: Inductor Collar 100% charged.

Step 3 - Earpiece Type

This model can be purchased only with the Nano Earpiece or also with a Vip Pro type Earpiece. The Nano Penguin offers little volume and can only be used in noise-free environments like exams or libraries. The Spy Earpiece Vip Pro offers more volume and can be used in environments with or without noise.

Step 4 - Using the Kit with Vip Pro Earpiece

Step 4.1 - Stack Introduction

Select the earpiece model between the Vip Pro SuperMini (flesh color) or the Vip Pro UltraMini (black color)

Vip Pro UltraMini

Select the type of Vip Pro UltraMini earpiece. Both have the same operation only by varying the extraction method. In type A with extractor bar and type B pulling the transparent thread.

Type A

ATTENTION - To remove the Vip Pro UltraMini TYPE A earpiece from your ear, the battery must be inserted into the earpiece.

You should NEVER insert the Vip Pro UltraMini earpiece into your ear without first inserting the battery. on the Earpiece or the extractor bar will not work.

Unscrew the black cap from the earpiece and insert the stack with the positive pole facing upwards. Then screw the cap back on checking let it remain correctly screwed.

The battery begins to be consumed from the moment it is inserted on the earpiece and should withdraw if not to be used to prevent downloading. The stack model required for this version is 379-SR521SW.

type B

Unscrew the black cap from the earpiece and insert the stack with the positive pole facing upwards. Then screw the cap back on checking let it remain correctly screwed.

VIP Pro SuperMini

Unscrew the black cover of the spy headset and insert the battery with the positive pole up (where are the letters of the brand and the model of the battery is the positive pole).

Step 4.2 - Cleaning Check Operation

This sound decreases when something is played and when the battery power decreases. Thanks to this technology, we have great autonomy and very small headphones.

Firstly, clean the ear well with a Q-tip, ear cleaning spray or water and dry well. Next, clean the earphone holes with a fine needle and be very careful to remove the wax that obstructs and can make you not hear anything.

Hold the spy headset close to your ear and check that you hear a sound similar to that of an untuned radio.

This sound indicates that it is turned on and works properly.

If the sound is very loud and can be heard without the earpiece in your ear, unscrew the cap and check that the battery is oriented with the positive pole + facing up and screw the cap back on carefully. If the lid or the battery are not aligned it will make this noise.

If you cannot hear the sound similar to an untuned radio, check that the battery is correctly inserted with the positive + side facing up and screw the cap back on carefully. If you have left the battery inserted for a long time, it will be dead and you will have to use the other battery included in the kit or a new one to get it working again.

Step 4.3 - Introduction and Placement of the Kit

Insert the earpiece into the left ear. You can also insert it on the right, but generally we hear better on the left. You can push the earpiece with your finger. It is not recommended to insert it too much, as it is not necessary to hide it.

Place the Kit as it appears in the image, remembering that the induction collar should always be on the neck under clothing so that the earpiece receives the sound.

If you cannot hear the sound similar to an untuned radio, check that the battery is inserted correctly with the positive + side facing up and screw the cap back on carefully. Step 5 - Using the Nano Earpiece Kit

If the vip pro earpiece works, the nano earpiece will work for sure. This is because the nano earpiece works because of the material it is made of.

It is recommended to first test the vip pro earpiece if you have purchased a kit with a vip pro earpiece.

Step 5.1 - Kit Parts

Extractor Bar, Extractor Magnet and Earpieces

The penguins (in the image indicated by the number 3) are the two smallest pieces and should part with the nail. You can find them in the Kit in a bag. Also included are extractor bar (2 in the picture) and the puller magnet (1 in the image).

Step 5.2 - Test Function

Place together the Extractor Magnet and the two earpieces and place them in contact with the inductor collar, which must be rolled as in the picture. The extractor magnet, being also made of a piezoelectric material, reacts to inductive waves in the same way as the earpieces, vibrating and causing the sound, for this reason we will use it together with the earpieces to carry out the test.

Step 5.3 - Introducing Nano Earpiece

This step It is the most complex and may require several attempts to achieve the correct entry.. Si DO NOT enter it correctly you will hear low or not at all

Recommended For a correct introduction of the earpiece, keep the ear as clean as possible. We recommend using before introducing it swabs and/or spray for ear cleaning

Enter first a penguin (only one of the two that appear in the image indicated by a 3) in the left ear (we hear better through the left ear than through the right) through the following procedure:

Turn your head 90º so that the left ear where we are going to insert the earpiece is facing upwards.
Then drop the earpiece into your ear (You should never try to insert the earpiece with a cotton swab or similar, as it will not be inserted correctly).
keeping the same position with your head turned, shake your head and make circular movements until you notice the sensation of a drop of water falling into the ear and/or the clogged ear.

For check that the earpiece has been correctly inserted, put your hand to your ear (so that the earpiece does not fall to the ground) and turn your head to the opposite side. Step 5.4 - Kit Placement and Volume Adjustment

When the earpiece has been correctly inserted in the left ear, place the Kit as it appears in the image, remembering that the induction collar should always be on the neck under clothing so that the earpiece receives the sound.

(A single earpiece in the left ear is recommended, since when trying to insert one in each ear, the first one will be misplaced when introducing the second one). (It is VERY likely that if we do not hear well with an earpiece in the left ear it is because we have not inserted the earpiece correctly, the volume is not the maximum in the collar, the neckloop does not have enough charge or it is not in the neck).

Step 6 - Multifunction and Volume Buttons

The next/previous buttons on inducer collar are locked because they are replaced by the buttons that are located on the feet.

The push buttons located on the feet have various functions:

1 Click Push Button: Next/Previous Recording.
Hold Button: Fast Forward/Backward.

The Nano V2's volume buttons have several functions:

Hold Button ➕ : Switch between play mode (In order-Random-Repeat)
1 Click Button ➕ : Raise the volume. When the volume is maximum, a beep is emitted by the earpiece. The induction collar has 30 volume levels. ⚠ If you hold down this button it will not go up the volume. Must press the button without holding it down.
1 Click Button ➖ : Decrease the volume. When the volume is minimal you will not hear anything through the earpiece. The induction collar has 30 volume levels. ⚠ If you keep this button pressed, it will not download the volume. Must press the button without holding it down.
Hold Button ➖ : Start recording from the beginning.

*Maximum volume on the induction collar drastically reduces autonomy. You must adjust the volume to the minimum audible (normally 50-70%) on the inductor collar (you can adjust the volume with the + and – button on the inductor collar).

Step 7 - Battery, Earpiece and Battery Removal

Remember to turn off the neckloop while not in use and while it is charging.

Battery charge

La autonomy of the Nano V2 device is approximately 3 hours.

To charge it, connect el USB to a computer or charger up to 5V and 1A. The estimated time of charge is 1-1,5 hours. The device is fully charged when the red light disappears while its charging. The Nano V2 must be turned off while charging.

The battery should be charged/discharged at least once every 1 months to increase battery life.

Earpiece Removal

Step 7.1 - Removing the Nano Earpiece

Step 7.2 - Removing the Vip Pro Earpiece

Select the earpiece model between the Vip Pro SuperMini (flesh color) or the Vip Pro UltraMini (black color)

Vip Pro UltraMini

Remove the earpiece by pulling the transparent thread with your fingers. If you don't make it, you can try pulling of the transparent thread with a tweezer.

Lastly, remember to disconnect the battery when you finish using the device to prevent it from downloading.

Frequent Problems

2 - I can't hear anything or very low

In nano earpieces this failure is impossible. If one device works, the other works too. This is because the earpieces work because of the material they are made of, a piezoelectric material, and not due to any internal electronics in the earpieces. The material reacts to the inductive waves of the induction collar by vibrating and making sound.

Most likely, the earpiece has not been correctly inserted into the ear, we are confusing the extractor magnet with the earpieces or two earpieces together or that let's hear more through one ear (We normally hear more through the left ear).

If the volume obtained by the earpiece in one ear is sufficient, it is recommended to use it with a single earpiece and save the other.

4 - Recordings are out of order

If the recordings are out of order and that's it has numbered them from the way: 1.mp3,2.mp3,3.mp3… or if you listen to recordings already deleted in the microSD you must format it in format FAT32.

Save the recordings to your computer or mobile first and then proceed to format the microSD. You can check on Google how to format a microSD on Mac/Windows or other devices.

Spy Earpiece Vip Pro

Remove the earphone by pulling the transparent thread with your fingers. If you don't get it, you can try to pull the transparent thread with tweezers.

Lastly, remember to disconnect the battery when you finish using the spy headset to prevent further consumption.

8 - The Choke Collar has stopped working

Most likely, has stayed on and the battery has been depleted. Perform a full charge. It is also possible that the volume has gone down, you must raise it by repeatedly pressing the + button on the Nano V2 while it is on and playing.

9 - Low Autonomy

🔋❗ The volume to the maximum in the induction collar drastically reduces autonomy. You must adjust the volume to audible minimum (typically 50-70%) at neckloop (you can decrease the volume by repeatedly pressing the volume – button and increase it by repeatedly pressing the + button).
